The Alpha Course at Christ Church

Our next evening Alpha course starts on Monday 27 September with the subject “Who is Jesus?” and will run for 10 weeks. All the sessions start with a meal followed by a talk and then time for open discussion.

Do come along if you want to find out more about Christianity, meet new people, ask difficult questions, and enjoy a good meal – or have heard about Alpha and would like to check it out for yourself!

Do invite friends, neighbours and colleagues who you think may be interested. If they need to hold someone’s hand, come along too!

Home Groups

…..let us consider how to spur one another on towards love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together……but let us encourage one another. (Hebrews 10: 24-25)

At Christ Church we have a number of small groups in which we can be known, cared for, and accepted just as we are. The home groups (so called because they meet in someone’s home) meet to study the Bible, pray for one another’s concerns and share friendship and sometimes a meal together. The groups meet at different homes throughout the Chiswick area. Most groups meet in the evenings, but there are also four women’s groups (including one for Mums with toddlers) that meet in the daytime.

Fusion

This is a bi-monthly gathering of the home groups and other members of the church family, coming together at church for a time of worship, teaching and prayer on a Tuesday evening. The evening starts with a time for coffee, cake and fellowship!

Prayer Powerhouse!

Prayer Powerhouse! meets every Thursday evening from 7pm to 7.45pm in the upstairs room, to pray for the church and all its activities.

St. Andrew’s Fellowship

This group is aimed at our older members, but everyone, regardless of age, is very welcome to come along. The group meets fortnightly on a Monday afternoon at 2.30pm in church. A talk or activity is followed by refreshments and a time to chat.
