Volunteering

For many people starting to volunteer to serve in some small way, is how they get to know a wider group of people better, and start to feel at home in a growing church. No-one will ever force you to get involved at Christ Church unless you want to do so yourself. For many people a stint on the coffee roster can really help them to ‘find their feet’ and provides an opportunity to meet and chat with a large number of people over the coffee counter!

So, if you want to get involved there are whole range of opportunities to do so, helping in any of the areas listed below:

Coffee roster

Help with cooking and/or serving food

Coordinating catering for events

Overhead projection

Stewarding/welcoming teams

Helping with children’s/youth activities

Worship group – musicians/singers

Help with Church Opening (Monday to Friday 12 noon – 2pm)

Cleaning the church

Giving lifts/ shopping
